From new Legend Loba, to the extensive updates to Kings Canyon, to the new Season Quests, we wanted to give you a high-level overview of all the changes we’re bringing to the game when Season 5 launches. We’re also making plenty of smaller buffs, tweaks, and fixes too. Be sure to check those out and give yourself an edge before you drop in to pursue your fortune on May 12! New Legend Loba Stylish, sophisticated, and resourceful, Loba uses her Jump Drive bracelet to teleport where she pleases and takes what she wants. Tactical - Burglar’s Best Friend Teleport to hard-to-reach places or escape trouble quickly by throwing your Jump Drive bracelet. Ultimate - Black Market Boutique Place a portable device that allows you to teleport nearby loot to your inventory. Each friendly or enemy Legend can take up to two items. Passive - Eye for Quality Nearby epic and Legendary loot can be seen through walls. The range is the same as Black Market Boutique. Learn more about Loba on her Lore page here. Map Update Kings Canyon Skulltown and Thunderdome have fallen. A new POI, Salvage, has been added to the Broken Coast. Across the map, the Offshore Rig connects to the former Relay and Wetlands. Wetlands has been replaced by the excavation of the Capacitor, which has a new underground pathway to Singh Labs. Nesting Grounds has continued to regrow into the Reclaimed Forest, which features an expanded Singh Labs exterior and a small camp outside of The Cage. Check out our blog post here for more information on these changes! Kings Canyon will be the only map available for two weeks after the season launch, so players can have time to fully explore the changes and meta shift. After the two week honeymoon period, Map Rotation will start rotating World’s Edge Season 4 into the mix. Charge Towers Charge Towers are new devices unearthed in the excavation of Kings Canyon. Activate them to grant a full Ultimate charge to any Legends standing on the platform when the charge blast goes out. Ranked Series 4 This new season starts a new Ranked Series! This season we are sticking to mostly the same format but have also introduced a key feature, Reconnect. Reconnect Players that leave a match unexpectedly can now rejoin their match in progress. "Unexpected" means exiting the match through any means other than the system menu, including crashing, using alt+f4 on PC, or "dashboarding" to close the game on console. To reconnect, simply restart the game and enter the lobby. The game will automatically attempt to reconnect you if the match is still valid, your squad is still alive, and your chance to reconnect hasn't timed out. Reconnect will be available for all competitive modes. Disconnected players' characters remain in the state they were in while the player was connected. To their teammates, it will look a bit like the disconnected player has gone afk with an icon next to their name to indicate disconnection. This means when the player reconnects, they can immediately continue where they left off. Unless, that is, they were killed beforehand. Player characters can be knocked out and eliminated while the player is disconnected. Disconnected players whose characters have died can be respawned normally, by taking their banner to a respawn beacon, before or after the player has reconnected. If a player doesn't reconnect in time, the disconnected player's character is removed as normal, and the game will treat their disconnect as an abandonment. There is a limited time window in which a player can reconnect and failing to do so in Ranked will result in a loss penalty. Loss forgiveness does not activate until a player is fully removed from the game, so don't drop from a ranked match when your squadmates have a chance to reconnect! To read more on Series 4 Ranked, Read the blog here. Bundles We're introducing bundles to the direct purchase shop along with a brand new inspect view! This first set of bundles include 3 or more items at a discount and rotate into the shop on a weekly basis. If you own some of the items in these discount bundles, you'll be able to purchase the rest of the bundle at a reduced price. Over time, we'll be adding more types of bundles, stay tuned for further details. Conditional Legend Chatter Under certain pairings, Legends will speak to each other differently when prompted with normal dialogue cues. How does Loba thank Revenant for a revive? She sure doesn’t say “Thank you.” There are many pairings if you are interested in hearing what everyone has to say. Experiment! Legend updates Mirage Now it’s a party! Your favorite trickster has learned a few new tricks to bamboozle his enemies in this new rework for Season 5. Designer Note The hope for this rework is that it gives more depth to Mirage gameplay by giving Mirage players avenues to get better at Bamboozling people. Tactical Psyche Out Pressing the character utility action button allows Mirage to gain control of his decoy. When controlling the decoy, it will mimic Mirage’s every move. Decoys now last for 60 seconds. Releasing another decoy will remove the previous decoy. Ultimate Life of the Party Mirage deploys a team of decoys that mimic his every move think “Emergency Dance Party" from DUMMIEs Big Day. Cooldown 60 seconds. Passive Now You See Me… In addition to cloaking when downed, Mirage also cloaks while using a respawn beacon and reviving a teammate the teammate is also cloaked. Mirage’s “You got Bamboozled” line will now trigger when you bamboozle an enemy, instead of when you release a decoy. Bloodhound Tactical Eye of the Allfather Increased Sonar Detection from 3 seconds to 4 seconds. Decreased Cooldown from 35 seconds to 25 seconds. Crypto Tactical Drone Crypto can now ping banners, while in drone, to warn teammates of nearby squads. Lifeline Increased Lifeline bin ratio to 20% Removed Knockdown Shields from Secret Compartment loot pool Caustic Designer note this is something that is a bit of an experiment. We will be keeping an eye out to make sure this change doesn’t cause any degenerate player behavior. Friendly gas no longer slows teammates. Caustic traps are no longer triggered from the other side of a door. Octane Designer note This is a first step in pushing more team utility for Octane. We have more updates planned but they didn’t make the cutoff for this patch. Launch Pad cooldown is reduced from 90 seconds to now 60 seconds. Gibraltar Designer note Internal data shows that Gibraltar’s performance in individual fights is in a good place, but we want to bring down his power a bit in team fights. Reduced Dome Shield duration from 18s to 12s. Pathfinder Designer note Given the power of quick repositioning in Apex, being able to use Pathfinder’s Grappling Hook multiple times in a fight is both too powerful and muddies combat legibility. The cooldown for Grappling Hook has been increased from 15 seconds to 35 seconds. Weapon and Loot Updates Season 5 is the first season Apex doesn't get a new weapon. We stepped back and asked ourselves, does Apex need a new weapon every season? If we continue to add new weapons, the weapon pool will become saturated. We believe there is a "right" amount of weapons in the loot pool, and we think we are currently in that sweet spot. Vaulting weapons is not an option because players have purchased skins, so we are forced to be more creative. We have some ideas on how to address it, but we need some time to test them and make sure they are healthy for Apex. We also want to make sure that weapons we add have real value to the gameplay. We have some fun stuff in the works. Our weapons team is hard at work. In the meantime, we hope the changes listed below can get you excited to learn and master the Season 5 weapon meta. Crypto’s EMP now affects in the Firing Range. Fixed Revenant’s Death Totem being visible through smoke or gas. Fixed a few Pathfinder banner poses that caused corrupted art. Adjusted Octane’s Jump pad to make it harder to fall through cracks when deploying. Fixed Caustic's Ultimate not deploying when thrown under small surfaces. Fixed Bangalore’s smoke canisters getting stuck under the Train. QoL We’ve overhauled the Deathbox UI to compartmentalize loot better so you can find what you need faster. Crypto can now ping banners while in drone to warn teammates of nearby squads. Added voice over for pinging enemies who are reviving. Favorite option now available for Weapon Skins. Observer Highlights for Tournament Matches. Removed location based Weekly Challenges. These caused players to have mixed motivations from their squadmates, and didn’t work well with map rotation. Optimized CPU usage. Improved texture streaming quality on GPUs reporting less memory than advertised. As an American, I will celebrate my country with one of our time honored traditions...beating the dog shit out of something weak and defenseless. Everyone is lining up to shit on Eromanga Sensei. Worst animu of the year! Sure that's pretty low hanging fruit, but I'm going even lower. If bashing Eromanga Sensei was the equivalent of America's pummeling and carving up Serbia, picking on poor Berserk 2017 is like the 1983 invasion of Grenada! The story for this season was amazing as always and it is what keeps me coming back to watch week after week. I didn't have any issues with how the pacing was done. I felt like the directing was a bit better this season than ... Valiant Nephalem who recover Angelic Crucibles, a new consumable item, may use them to Sanctify any equippable Legendary item, infusing it with one of three new class-specific powers at random. We wanted to use Angelic Crucibles to lean into the expertise of each class, further exemplifying its respective prowess, but through a nuanced lens. The High Heavens are home to ethereal splendor, bursting with boundless radiance—we wanted to provide players with a taste of untainted power as doled out from Heaven itself. Example of creating a Sanctified item right using an Angelic Crucible. Season 27 Season 27 introduces a new type of consumable item called Angelic Crucibles. Once uncovered by Nephalem, these heavenly artifacts can be used to Sanctify any equippable Legendary item. Sanctifying an item reforges it to have perfect Ancient-level stats on all affixes while also preserving the item's Legendary Power. In addition, this process adds one of three new powers unique to each class. Season Theme Details Angelic Crucibles and Sanctified items can only be acquired in Seasonal play and will not transfer to your non-seasonal character when the season ends. Angelic Crucibles can drop anywhere in Sanctuary at level 70. Players can obtain as many Sanctified items as they would like, however, only one Sanctified item can be equipped at a time. Sanctified items can be Sanctified again using another Angelic Crucible. No stats are preserved when Sanctifying an item. Only level 70 equippable items can be Sanctified—crafted items cannot be Sanctified. Followers cannot equip Sanctified items. The drop rate of Angelic Crucibles has been doubled. Fortnite Battle Royale finally received its long-awaited ranked-esque game mode, Arena, with the update in 2019. It offers a new way for players to compete with others and show off their skills in a pro game setting. Grinding the mode also possibly allows players to obtain a spot in major online and offline Fortnite competitions with prize money. Every season brings minor adjustments to the Arena mode with season X, which started in August 2019, taking the crown for introducing the most changes. The Arena mode introduced three new game modes Solo, Duos, and Trios. Each take place in competitive settings, which means that unlike Events and Tournaments, it’s always enabled for players to hop in. Aside from the Solo mode, Duos and Trios tend to rotate in and out with each season. The rotations mostly depend on the bigger events that Epic plans to introduce later in that specific season. In Arena, every player has a rank represented by their division. Everyone starts in the Open League, Division One. They can rank up to Division 10, which is the Champion Division III, by receiving points called Hype based on the number of eliminations they get and their placement in each match. Getting a certain number of Hype points in several matches will allow players to go to the next division or league. Arena bus fare Bus fare is the Hype points players have to pay to start a match in the Arena mode. It only exists starting from Division Four and its value increases until Division 10. This means that if a player pays the bus fare and fails to get points in that match, they’ll lose Hype equal to the bus fare once they go back to the lobby. Though a player can’t be demoted from one division to another, the bus fare is still a great way to ensure everyone’s bringing their A-game. Here are the bus fares for each Division in Solo and Trios. Divisions One to Four – Open LeagueDivisions Four to Seven – Contender LeagueDivisions Eight to 10 – Champion League Players can get Hype in all divisions based on the number of eliminations they get and their placement in each match. For Solos and Trios, the Hype you get for each of these is the same. But you pay Hype in high divisions to play each match. Ranking up Players will increase their Division once they go past a certain Hype threshold of the Division that they’re in. Players have to collect over 1,499 Hype points to climb out of the Open Leagues. The amount of Hype players get in each game depends on their placements and total kill score. Here’s how many Hype points players get for their performance in Arena Solo and Duos. Solo Duos Players get to keep the number of Hype points they have from one Division to another. Divisions are determined by the total number of Hype points players have in the Arena, which can be seen below. Matchmaking in Arena is based on Division and Hype points, which means players will only face opponents who are in the same Division as them and, if possible, with the same number of Hype points. Playing at off-hours could affect the algorithm and may cause players from close divisions to face off against each other, however. Players’ divisions in the Arena mode will also let them unlock online Events that award prize money, such as the Fortnite World Cup Online Qualifiers, weekly Cash Cups, and FNCS. If a player plays their cards correctly, the Arena mode can certainly turn out to be their gateway to the professional Fortnite scene. How does the Arena mode’s health, The Siphon, work? Health and shields work slightly differently in Arena compared to public matches. Arena features a mechanic called Siphon. Each elimination grants players a healing bonus that promotes more aggressive and faster matches. The healing bonus is capped at 50 HP or shields. Players with more than 50 percent HP receive the rest of the bonus as shields. Siphon is a great way for players to concentrate more on picking fights instead of stacking healing items. It can also be a double-edged sword sometimes since veterans are used to knowing how much damage is enough to secure a kill. A player that you thought was dead could gain a health boost out of nowhere and finish you off in return. Material rules in Arena There are also material restrictions in Arena, alongside the health system, for the same purpose of encouraging more violent gameplay. The number of materials a player can carry in Arena is limited to 500 for each material type. Though players who rely more on their aim than building welcomed this change with open arms, it also started making players question if a fight is worth spending materials on. An early-game fight that can drain a player’s material stock can certainly come back to haunt them in the game’s later stages. The cap also increases the importance of looting eliminated enemies since they’ll be the best source of materials. Map and Vault changes in Arena Each new season of Fortnite brings map changes. These changes also make their way into the Arena mode as they arrive, aside from some of the limited unique features, like portals or guns that are the center of attention in regular games. This doesn’t mean that any fun gimmick Epic adds to Fortnite gets removed from the Arena mode, however. The developer releases thorough patch notes every season and players who aim for the higher ranks should keep an eye out for those to know what they’re walking into before queueing up for an Arena game. Overpowered guns or anything causing game-breaking bugs also get removed from the Arena mode first. Despite being careful with map changes, Arena seems to embrace the Vault changes since it’s a nice way to spice up gameplay. The vaulting and unvaulting is simply a gun rotation that replaces the gun arsenal in Fortnite Though it brings variety to the game, not following patch notes may result in searching for your favorite gun after it was rotated out from the game. It’s simply another competitive aspect of Fortnite that players need to keep up with to stay on top of their game. How can you rank up faster at Arena in Fortnite? As you climb up the ranks, you’ll realize the Arena mode has an entirely different meta than regular Fortnite matches. In higher ranks, players don’t hesitate to bide their time to ensure they don’t lose any Hype points. If you’re looking to rank up as fast as possible, you’ll need to make sure that you aren’t losing any Hype points to begin with. While losing Hype points is a rare occurrence up until division five, you’ll be in a completely different world starting from division eight. Once you get to the eighth division, you’ll start paying 60 Hype points as your bus fare, meaning you’ll lose Hype if you don’t get a top-25 placement. This pushes players to play safer than usual and creates a rather intense environment when there are 30-35 players left. No one will want to lose points after getting that far into the match, resulting in an overall defensive playstyle. Managing your risks will be your number one priority as you approach the end of a match. When there are 30-35 players left, getting into an overly risky skirmish won’t even be the last item on your checklist. At that point in the game, you should focus on securing that top-25 finish to concentrate on gaining points later on. This means you can practically divide your matches into two stages. Survive until top 25 and then focus on winning the match. Securing a top-25 finish may look complicated at first, but if you have a well-rehearsed looting route, you may not even realize how the time passes until there are 25 players left. Choosing yourself an isolated looting route will save you from early game skirmishes, which can knock you out of a match without any Hype points. You’ll also want to take advantage of all the in-game mechanics you can get your hands on. With Chapter Two, season five, Fortnite introduced NPCs that give away quests and rewards in exchange for gold bars. Every season brings new NPCs, and all of them serve a different purpose. While some of them will try to sell you meme weapons that aren’t that effective, there are a decent bunch of them offering weapon upgrades and powerful weapons. You may want to sneak a couple of NPCs in your routes to ensure that you enter the late game in top shape. Though it may sound boring, stacking a couple of Floppers by fishing is one of the most effective ways of healing. In Arena matches, most players will recognize you’re taking your time to heal inside your box. If your enemies smell the blood, they’ll try to push you. You can max out your health with Floppers in a matter of seconds, preparing you for your next fight as soon as possible. When in doubt, always try to have the element of surprise on your side since most players in higher ranks are often matched equally. If an enemy’s trying to push you due to your low health, sometimes you may be better off taking that fight without healing. Your enemy will naturally expect you to heal and act accordingly, and you can suddenly change the tides of a fight with the element of surprise. If you’re just starting your adventure in Fortnite’s Arena mode, you can learn more about how you can generally improve your gameplay in Fortnite. Once you master the core mechanics of the game, you can slowly start learning the Arena meta. You can accelerate your learning curve by watching the tournament and professional players participating in Weekly Cash Cups and events. The World Arena or WA for short Real-Time Arena, or RTA for short, is never mentioned in the game, but many people call it that is a special real-time variant of regular Arena where players from level 35 to level 50 MAX level are matched up with players from other servers, taking battles to a global scale. Much of the same rules from regular Arena apply, with each player battling with a team of four select monsters, with the first to wipe out the opposing team being declared the winner. However, there are some variations to the rules. Duplicate monsters cannot be chosen, nor can players choose the same monsters as their opponent. Both teams will take turns selecting at team of five monsters, with each player having the opportunity to ban one opposing monster to bring each team down to four monsters. Like regular arena, players are awarded Victory Points upon victory, and deducted points upon a loss. Accumulated Victory Points will determine each player's ranking. Special rewards separate from regular arena will be handed out based on ranking and grade achieved before the end of each season lasting approximately three months. Players will also be give Medals for each victory, which can be cashed in at the World Arena Shop. Before its official launch with the start of the Season 1, three "Real-time Arena Match / Live Arena" Test Services occured See Patches. Gameplay[] Team selection[] Players take turns selecting their team. Battles take place in the form of four on four monster battles. At the beginning of each battle, each player will each get a chance to form their team. Players will alternate between one another in their team selections based on the following order The player picking first will get the opportunity to choose one monster to be on their team. The player picking second will get to choose two monsters to be on their team. The player who picked first will now choose two more monsters. The player picking second will now choose two monsters. The player picking first will now choose two monsters. Finally, the player picking second will choose one more monster, marking this as the last selection of the round. Once each player has their team of five, both will alternate and pick one opposing monster to ban from competing in the upcoming battle. Once this is done, both players will select a Leader Skill. Each player will have 30 seconds to decide their selections/ban, with a timer displaying the remaining time. If players let their timer reach zero, the AI will decide their turn automatically, and they will have half the time to decide their next selection. The timer will continue to halve in this way until a minimum of three seconds. The team selection process is bound by several unique rules. Players may not choose duplicate monsters on their team. Additionally, players may not choose the same monster as their opponent. This means that the player picking first could potentially have an advantage during the teams selection process, as their opponent cannot choose any monsters that were already chosen. Battling[] Once team selections have taken place. battles will progress in much the same way as regular arena battles. Whoever defeats all opposing monsters first wins the match. Unlike regular Arena, battles are real-time, with players alternating between turns, with turn priority based on total speed of each monster. Since battles are in real-time, each player will have a turn timer dictating how much time they have to decide their turn, with both players possessing 15 seconds. If the turn timer ever reaches zero, the AI will decide the player's turn, and will have approximately half the time to decide their next turn. The timer will continue to halve in this way until a minimum of three seconds, after which the timer will reset back to 15 seconds. As the battle progresses, special effects will be placed on all monster. After 20 turns have taken place, all monsters will gain 10% more attack power, and lose 10% of their maximum HP. The same effect will apply every 15 turns thereafter, with the effects stacking over time. Additionally, uniquely only to the World Arena, Violent runes can only trigger an additional turn once per turn. Unused Variations[] You found a Mysterious Guard! The content and images in this section do exist in the code of the game, but are unused, and thus, not accessible by normal means. Night Pool Fog Roof Night Roof Matchmaking[] Players will be assigned a grade after 10 placement matches At the beginning of each season, each player will be required to participate in 10 placement matches against random players. The match record accrued over these 10 placement matches will determine the player's initial ranking and grade heading into official matches. Players thereafter will be matched with other players in the same grade. Medals will still be awarded for victories accrued in the placement round. Additionally, players will also be matched up according to their most recent winning percentage. That means that players on a winning streak will be matched up similarly, and vice versa for players on a losing streak. Victory Points[] Victory Points will be awarded for every victory, and lost for every defeat. The amount of Victory Points gained and lost will depend on difference in player ranking and accumulated Victory Points. Winning against a player with much more Victory Points will result in a greater gain, while losing against an opponent with lower Victory Points will result in a greater point deduction, and vice versa. Victory Points will be reset once the season ends. Victory Points will be deducted every day if you have no record of playing the [Ranking Battle] for more than a week since your last [Ranking Battle] in the World Arena. 5pts starting the 8th day since you haven't played the Ranking Battle 10pts starting the 15th day since you haven't played the Ranking Battle Please note that your Victory Points won't be deducted anymore once you play the [Ranking Battle] again and this rule will only apply to the users that possess above 1,000 Victory Points. Seasonal reset[] After the end of every season of World Arena, all players will have their Victory Points reset, based on their Grade during the previous season. This will determine initial matchmaking during placement matches, which will determine each player's official starting grade. Seasonal rewards are based on each player's end-of-season ranking and grade, with more items awarded the higher a player ranks. Each season offers a different set of rewards. Gamers!’ is the kind of show that will really make you scratch your head but at the same time, if you have ever been a gamer of any sort, you will find its concepts quite relatable. But what starts off as a gaming anime at its heart soon turns into a romance show that makes you question what it’s really about. Based on a light novel series written by Sekina Aoi, Gamers!’ has a title that itself is enough to attract a whole lot of anime fans who are into gaming. However, once you start watching it, you realize that it is only about a bunch of gamers who get together and play games. This leads to romance themes, misunderstandings between friends and also a whole lot of drama shenanigans, all of which mainly focus on the strange relationships of the characters. On paper, the premise of the anime seems quite simple but as the story starts to unfold, it becomes quite a complicated mess that makes you question your overall initial impression of the anime. Gamers!’ is not recommended for anyone who hates romantic comedies because from the very beginning itself, through its characters, it makes it very clear that the basic premise is not at all about gaming and is more related to the romantic relationships between the characters. But even then, if you are a fan of video games, certain references to console games, PC games, arcade games, and also SIMS, will be relatable for you. The anime does adopt the idea of gaming with respect to social norms but sadly, it never takes a very serious approach towards this theme. Instead, it chooses to be very lighthearted with its casual style of storytelling. So in the end, when it comes to the plot and storytelling of Gamer!’, it is very easy to accept the anime for what it is but it’s hard to appreciate it for what it offers. Pine Jam Studio isn’t one of the best animation studios out there for obvious reasons and their previous project, an anime titled Just Because!’, was quite unnoticeable because of its lack of technical soundness. However, in the case of Gamers!’, Pine Jam seems to have done surprisingly well, especially with the characters’ expressions. A major part of the plot relies on comedy that is character-centric and because of this, the expressions of the characters in different situations play a very crucial role. Overall, Gamers!’ feels more like a tease that introduces you to a lot of interesting themes and concepts but instantly steals them away from you. What it lacks is a consistent flow to its bland plot that keeps drifting between various ideas. The comedy is the only major sell out of the show and that’s probably the only thing fans will remember it for. So if you’re really bored on a Sunday afternoon with nothing else to do, Gamers!’ can be a great time killer. And if you are a gamer of any sort, then you might just enjoy it a little more than someone who is not. Gamers! Season 2 Release Date When will it premiere? Gamers!’ season 1 premiered on July 13, 2017 and went on till September 28, 2017, with a total of 12 episodes. Regarding season 2 of the anime, many fans were disappointed with the way the first season ended and this could’ve had a major impact on its overall sales. The good news here is that the anime only adapts 5 volumes of the light novels, which means that there are three more light novels left to be covered. Also, considering the consistency with which the author has been publishing the source material, it is very likely that there will at least be 3 more volumes of it available by the end of 2019. Our best guess is that Gamers’ season 2 release date could be sometime in 2020 or 2021. We will update this section as soon as we hear more. Till then, you can always catch up with the source material of the anime or watch other similar rom-com shows. Gamers! English Dub The English Dub of Gamer!’ is available on Funimation. You can also stream it on Crunchyroll with its official Japanese audio and English subtitles. Gamers! Plot Gamers’ centers around Keita Amano who is a normal high school kid with a very ordinary life. He spends most of his free time playing video games like every other gamer in his school. But one day, the cutest girl in his school approaches him and asks him if he would want to join her gaming club. Karen Tendou is one of the most popular kids in school and pretty much everyone looks up to her as their idol. When she finds out that Keita is an avid gamer, she feels this urge to recruit him into her elite gaming club. When Amano finally joins this club, he realizes that this side of gaming is entirely different from the one that he usually enjoys. Meanwhile, Tendou starts to fall in love with Keita, who completely transforms her uneventful life into a life full of spontaneity and liveliness. This leads to every day turning into a comical battle for Keita to find balance and peace in his extremely complicated life. Gamers! Characters Keita Amano Keita is the main protagonist of the series who is a part of class 2-F and is also a member of a non-school gaming club. He has dark brown colored hair with messy bangs and violet eyes. For his age, he seems to be a little shorter than most of his peers and he is often seen in his school uniform. When it comes to academics at school, he is fairly average and loves to play video games only for the sake of enjoyment. He is so addicted to gaming that even when he is at school, he plays RPG games on his smartphone during free time and avoids talking to anyone. Due to his lack of social skills, he develops a major inferiority complex and finds it really hard to interact with anyone. But to others, he gives off the impression that he thinks he’s better than everyone else and that’s why he avoids talking to them. Karen Tendou Karen Tendou is a student of class 2-A and she is also the president of the Game Club. She has an average height and is very well known for being the cutest girl in the entire school. She has beautiful long blond hair and big green eyes that draw the attention of almost every guy in school. Apart from her good looks, she is also really good at studies and works really hard to be at the top of her class. She is also very kind to everyone around her and often goes out of her own way to help others out. Her teachers see her as a very well mannered and sincere student and almost everyone in school is fond of her. She also proves to be a very athletic student and always manages to win the 100m sprint of her school in just seconds. She is idolized by everyone around for being the all-rounder that she is. Aguri Aguri is one of the female protagonists of the show who is also a student at the Otobuki High School. She is known to be very clingy, especially to her boyfriend, Tsuku Uehara. She is extremely tiny for someone her age but that just makes her look cuter. She has violet eyes and long pink hair with clips supporting the sides. Out of the characters in the series, she is the biggest crybaby and she also gets jealous a lot of times. She initially hates Keita but later when he helps her overcome her sadness, she starts to enjoy his company as much as others.
